For our  Feb. 21st Memory Café we will celebrate Black History Month by looking closely at the work of Jacob Lawrence, the first African American to have work added to the Museum of Modern Art permanent collection. 

We will use the photos of documentarian and civil rights activist Gordon Parks for reminiscing, and let painter Alma Thomas inspire us to make a small collage!
